Surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's previous record of 23 such scores, Kohli achieved this feat during the first semi-final of the 2025 Champions Trophy between India and Australia in Dubai. Kohli reached his 74th ODI half-century during the match, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest ODI batsmen of all time.
Virat Kohli has featured in eight ICC ODI tournaments (4 ODI World Cups and 4 Champions Trophies) for India, and across 54 matches, he has scored over 50 runs 24 times.
